I have a whole FAQ just on this very topic! You can find it here.
Yes – we have lots! Have a read of this article Joy wrote on becoming a Holistic Nutritionist.
We're always looking for amazing individuals to join the Joyous Health team, but have no official openings at this time. You can always send your resume to [email protected] and we will keep it on file for future opportunities. Please note that we will only be contacting those that we wish to interview.
I hope so! Check out my upcoming events page for currently scheduled events, and make sure you’re signed up for my newsletter, where you’ll be the first to know about any upcoming engagements.
The short answer is yes, we do. With that in mind, to remain ethical and transparent to our valued readers, we provide full disclosure of relationships we have with brands when writing about a product.
Topics, products and content will always be chosen by us and will always be relevant to the Joyous Health philosophy of helping our readers live their best life.
The views and opinions expressed on Joyous Health are always our own and we only share our 100% honest opinions. Compensation will never influence our opinions of a product, nor will we ever promote a brand or product that we do not fully support.
If you have further questions about our partnership ethos, you can always get in touch.
First of all, thank you for thinking of me and of Joyous Health for your upcoming event! I’m incredibly passionate about sharing my knowledge of living a happy, healthy life and inspiring others. Full details about my speaking services can be found on the Speaking Inquiries page, including details on how to get in touch.
It’s actually part of the joyous philosophy not to count calories (or grams of fat, sugar, carbs, etc.), but instead to focus on eating whole, nutrient-dense foods. As such, I don’t have detailed nutritional breakdowns for my recipes.
You can use it to make a mineral-rich vegetable broth, add it to a smoothie or make cookies or crackers if you have a food dehydrator. If all else fails, just compost it.
Yes, there really are! It’s all the protein in those eggs that puts the power in those Power Muffins!
Try my flour swap chart here! Just keep in mind, flour substitution, like any other ingredient swap, isn’t an exact science, so we can’t guarantee results for all swaps.
Not a problem! You can check out my chart of plant-based egg substitutions here.
The short answer is “maybe.” While we’d love to be able to test every recipe for every ingredient swap, we can’t predict every possible swap, let alone test them! So feel free to get creative, and if you find a swap that really works, please share it in the comments for that recipe, we’d love to hear about it! Just keep in mind that once you start to swap out ingredients, we can’t guarantee it will turn out the same as the original recipe.

If you’re sensitive to baking soda, you’ll definitely want to go with the stick, which is baking soda–free. The cream is a stronger formula, so if you’re super active (and not sensitive to baking soda), you might want to go with the cream. Beyond that, it’s a matter of your personal preference!
To book a consulting session with Joy, please contact us and someone will be in touch within 1-business day to discuss our different options.
