My family loves cookies. Don't we all love cookies? Maybe you're not a cookie monster but perhaps you want to bake some super quick and nourishing cookies for a loved one? I've got your recipe!
These Banana Bread Cookies could not be any easier. Simple, whole ingredients - easy enough that a second grader could make them (my daughter is in grade 2 and she makes these with my help) and yes, they taste like banana bread but in the cookie form!
These cookies are....
You can really jazz up this recipe too. It's a great base for adding pumpkin seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, dried cranberries - you can get creative with it and have some fun. They are soft and chewy, and the chocolate chips melt in your mouth.
Here is the recipe:
*If using chocolate chips, look for a sugar-free brand such as Lily’s Sweets chocolate chips.

Hi Joy. I’m wondering if you would tell me what brand of oats you use? I want to try these. Love your recipes!❤️
ReplyI buy One Degree Organics or Anita's. Enjoy!
Made these cookies this morning, for the first time. I didn't have raisins,so I used dried blueberries. Still very tasty! Thanks Joy I love recipes with 4-5 simple ingredients
ReplyDried blueberries, great idea!! Glad you enjoyed this recipe Rose!
Do I use less than 3 cups of oat flour if I'm not using whole oats in food processor
ReplyYes I would use a little less. However, I haven't tested it with oat flour which is a much finer texture so I can't say for sure. Maybe go with 2.5 cups oat flour and see how you like the texture?
Just made these. Is it bad that I ate four of them? Yummmmm
ReplyGlad you enjoyed them!
