This podcast was extremely encouraging for me! It’s absolutely what I needed to hear right now! My husband and I have been going through a rough season with our kids. I think it stems back to me, in large part, and how stretched I am. We are juggling 3 kids (6, 8 and 11) and all their homework and school testing (LOTS!) and their activities and our relationship and our jobs, and I just don’t always feel like I have the emotional capacity to be “emotionally generous” to them in the way they all need. This was a great reminder for me on how to go about doing that and the immense importance of it for all of us and for our relationships! I especially appreciated the discussion about the importance of self-care. Thank you for having Dr. Laura on the podcast and for showering your community with such wonderful people and resources!
